Diana Osborne

Diana M. Osborne, Executive MPA, is Chief Development Officer of David’s Refuge. With 14 years of experience working in nonprofits, journalism, marketing and public relations, she thrives on helping organizations tell their story through thoughtful, data-driven insights.

In June 2022, Diana earned her Executive Masters in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, the nation’s top-ranked school for public affairs. She studied with distinguished faculty including past Managing Director for Strategic Issues at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, and Founding executive and Former Head of Sierra Nevada Space Systems and past Chairman of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Innovation Board. In 2021, Diana completed the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program through Our Lady of the Lake University School of Business and Leadership. She graduated with honors from the State University of New York Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. She worked in New York as a reporter and production assistant for “7 News” WWNY-TV, and on-air talent with WBLH-Radio. She is certified by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) in Social & Behavioral Human Research and Responsible Code of Research.

Diana is President of the Western New York and Finger Lakes Chapter and an active member of: the Grant Professionals Association Alamo Area Chapter, the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) and Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). She has served as a grant evaluator on many panels including the San Antonio Area Foundation, Community Arts Partnership, the Texas Commission on the Arts, New York State Council on the Arts, Yield Giving Foundation, San Antonio Department of Arts & Culture, and Mid-America Arts Alliance.
